A friend tells me the Sussexes have been sending 32-year-old Eugenie, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew, details of homes close to where they live in Montecito.

But I'm told the couple are instead looking at homes in the West Hollywood area of Los Angeles, and they plan to rent first before taking the plunge and snapping up a property.




America won't be totally unfamiliar territory for Eugenie, who spent two years living in New York between 2013 and 2015, when she worked for the auction house Paddle8.

At the moment Jack and Eugenie, who have just announced they're expecting a sibling for two-year-old August, split their time between the UK and Portugal, where Jack works in high-end property development.

Although he recently took a job at Discovery Land Company with property tycoon Mike Meldman, a transition is likely to be fairly smooth as the company's core properties are dotted around the United States.

When in Britain, Jack and Eugenie have been staying at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Eugenie, the US won't be what you thought it would be despite what your cousin told you. As a Brit, you will be an interesting 'add' to the social circle. Odds are, you won't find many casual friends for a long while. You'll be relying on the transplanted Brits that your friends have told you about. Hope they don't want to trade on your connections for their social reasons.

Such a cutie!!  Love when a 2-year old runs, wobbly and just enough imbalance to be funny.  He does look like Eugenie but still see a lot of Jack in him, too.

Eug seems - to me - to strike the right balance between nothing at all and attention seeking, realizing that she and what she does will always have a level of public interest. I'll leave it at that.

While this is not the first time we've seen his face (saw him at the Jubilee), I do think this is the first time Eugenie has put his face on her IG since he was born. Thank god. I was getting so tired of the attention seeking back of head photos.

Yup, Augie was wearing a cute little Union Jack jumper at HLM's Jubilee. It's amazing though, he's changed from looking like a baby to a little boy in seven months. Before he was all Genie but now Jack features are starting to show too. He's a cutie, and it looks like he enjoyed his trip to whatever zoo or animal park they were at.

As to they're moving to LA, I'm skeptical to say the least. It's one thing to split time between Portugal and the UK, it's about 2 and half hours by air. LA is a bit too far from home and family, IMHO.
