It's that uber flattering Beulah dress again!

I love Sophie, she always gets it right! Nice to see the extended family. Judging by some BTS photos, I think they were all at BP for lunch after the Trooping.

Lady Gabriella always looks perfect IMO, but I always get the creeps seeing her brother. My fault, I am sure, he might really be a nice guy and just had bad luck to look like his is looking.

Does anybody know if he is working, has a job or an education?

He studied at Oxford, and is now an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase bank.

Judging by his school records he is a very intelligent man.

She got the Dame title from Luxembourg, the other title from the exking of some country in Africa, I think it is Burundi is just ridiculous. I did some research at the time
Going back to the thread of Tessy I wrote about that, how ridiculous it was of her accepting that "dame" title from a distant relative of the defunct kingdom who has been living in exile in GB, in a housing project in Manchester. The old man was probably lucky to be remembered by somebody and invited to some charity event in London.

You have never heard of that again. What a shameful, ridiculous thing of her still wearing that order.
But that is not important for her, although she claims to be such a sensible and "humble" person. Main thing is getting attention and accepting every stupid or fake award without questioning what is behind it.

I thought honorary titles and orders from foreign countries aren’t to be used…

She’s definitely found her ‘uniform’. First dress Dior. The others are all Anna Valentine. Hats are all Treacy

I was just thinking that Phil T is raking it in with all his hats to royal ladies.

I like to see one day this:

hats by Treacy. ALl bras by bras4uthatfit by royal decree, of course.

I must correct myself. The "Order of the Drum" is from the former royal family of Rwanda, which was abolished in 1961! The former King went into exile to the US and died there in 2017 in very poor conditions, he was on welfare and lived in a housing project.

After his death some advisor, who isn't even a member of the former royal family proclaimed the King's nephew who has been living in exile in Sale near Manchester , UK , in very humble conditions, follower of the King.

That caused a furious statement of the former Royal family of Rwanda naming him "a fake king".

What really angered me at the time was that Tessy who always makes a show of her knowledge of foreign, especially underprivileged countries and how she wanted to help with "PWB" and other charities, did not know the history of that African country.

Just because of attention seeking , shallowness and eagerness to get just another award, she accepted it in a very small ceremony in London, which was probably initiated by some unimportant people of her set at the time. But she knew how  to get this into the press. And people who don't know the background of that story and don't do research say "Awww, how wonderful, what a great woman", and there are quite many of those.

Also very irritating to me that although she doesn't name her sons "my babies" anymore, the oldest one who is 17, she is calling her "mini me" or "mini".
He is going along with it, he is not one who is protesting and saying "NO", I have a feeling that the younger son is different.

Sophie seems like such a great time! I saw her on an episode of Somebody Feed Phil once when he was visiting London and she was so funny and genuine.

Thanks emtishell and FC for the information about Frederik. I learned a lesson again how to never judge people upon the way they are looking.

Yeahhhhh. Freddie has had some issues, I’m not so sure about all that.

Sophie, seems lovely, but…I think she’s just done a good job of wrangling him and keeping out of the gossip mill. I would buy that SHE is incredibly bright.

OK, we had some pretty good frocks and hats at Ascot. So what's next on our royal-watching calendar? Any state visits anywhere? Me, I need some tiaras!

He has a first class degree in Classics from Oxford --so majored in Latin and Ancient Greek.  I think that takes brains.
