I've been disappointed that the younger British royals haven't been given family jewels --at least not that we can see.  No bracelets handed down from grandmama, no earrings we can trace back to great-aunt Louise.  It seems only the princess of Wales has access to the family pieces.  I'd love to see Louise, Beatrice and Eugenie wearing some family heirlooms.  Alas!

Gifting the lesser royals jewels is the fastest way to deplete the collection.

yes, but surely there must be dozens of bracelets, smaller sets of earrings, lots of pearl necklaces, etc.  I'm not talking about the Vladimir tiara or the Jubilee necklace.

I know. But it’s a slippery slide. Just think of https://www.sothebys.com/...adem-joseph-kitching-1845.   https://gem-a.com/queen-v...diamond-sapphire-coronet/
