Update: 1 hour ago

Princess Amalia will receive her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds in Amsterdam on Saturday in honor of her 21st birthday. The statue can be viewed at the wax museum from Wednesday.
Madame Tussauds reports that a team of sculptors, color specialists and costume designers have worked intensively on the statue of the princess over the past year.

The statue wears a blue dress, which is inspired by the outfit Amalia wore during the celebration of the eighteenth birthday of Danish Crown Prince Christian in October last year.

Amalia will be placed next to the wax statues of her father King Willem-Alexander, mother Queen Máxima and grandmother Princess Beatrix.

Visitors to Madame Tussauds can leave a birthday message for the princess at the statue of Amalia.

Princess Amalia, in turn, wears a dress by Tadashi Shoji. In terms of jewelry, the bridal tiara of Queen Máxima was chosen. The frame of the tiara is relatively new and dates from 1965 according to the catalogue about jeweler Steltman.

I don’t love the hair hanging in her face, but the rest is lovely.

Very good outfit on Amalia (minus the hair).
She also seems to have lost weight, which suits her very well. She's becoming a lady.

I notice quite a few young women have the hairstyle where two stands dangle at the front, maybe she's following that? Personally the style reminds me of the late 90s/early 2000s when the hair was slicked back into a pony takle with two straight bits either side of the face.

Amalia looks so stunning here! She's really finding her style and experimenting with a few tiaras. She inherited the best features of her parents but will always remind me of Trixie.

My hair looked like this at my fifth-grade graduation in the 90s - up in a claw clip with two big chunks hanging in the front!

The two curled bangs aren't doing it for me but other than that she looks lovely!
