Regarding the earrings:

For the ninth birthday of his daughter Wilhelmina, King Willem ordered a necklace and matching earrings through the Amsterdam jeweler Vita Israëls. Although Wilhelmina never wore the earrings herself (she did not have pierced ears), they have been preserved. Máxima wears them regularly, both in the original and simplified form. In Albany the simplified version, just the plug, came into view.
