It's interesting how she buys many pieces that are similar to what's already in the SRF jewel vault.
She can't pass down the vault jewels though. These are hers to own.
And while they may look similar, topaz is much more economical than sapphires.
True. I've always assumed that the SRF would take care of her kids, grandkids etc. Maybe she's trying to ensure they have something for when the time comes. I do like the brooch she wore for the Nobel Prize Ceremony.
