Yes, there will have been biographical briefings (to facilitate conversations) but childhood matters won’t have been canvassed. “Don’t mentions” will be obvious enough not to have to have them recorded.

Oh, I'm sure no one would say a thing and most of them would know about her past. Sad that someone like her can get herself invited to such things just because of the dunce she married. All for PR.

Laugh at the irony, cry at the fact Sofia is being given a platform to promote children's rights.

It still wouldn't surprise me to learn that Sofia is angling to take over Silvia's work on children. I know Madde has been earmarked for Childhood, but I don't think that'll stop Sofia.

This is why, when the spare and other siblings, should be told at age 18, go to university and get a good job, you’ll not be part of the royal family meal ticket, appanage.  They are a waste of space with too much baggage, esp her.  I love seeing things on the different monarchies but with too many useless family members included, I get why many monarchies are streamlining in response to pressures from the public and calls for the monarchy to go away.  Poor Maddie, it’s been a struggle against CP and Snakey since she came on the scene.  Good thing they’re in Florida and Chris doesn’t truly care that much about it.

Then you would have all the King's children doing "official" work and the partners of all but the heir having "regular" jobs, perfect equality in the 21st century.

I can't hope for that.  Any time Madeleine & Chris appear in Sweden, their position as Number 3 is made too clear.  That old misogynistic fart King Kuk would rather put CP and his tart in front of M&C (strictly speaking of old style birth protocol it's correct but GOD it's just so yeech!) - [He'd likely to put Thing 2 and the other thing in front of Victoria, given half a chance.]  I can only still hope that M&C continue to divide their time between Sweden and any other home they make.  (I read in the M&C news thread they sold their Miami home.  DON'T move full time to Sweden, Maddie!!  Until sister is the Queen.)
