Sorry to be difficult but can we keep all the Marius stuff in its own thread and not mess up the MM thread or this one? I really appreciate everyone sharing breaking news but it creates more problems if we're not archiving correctly.

I think Marius has more of an impact on the NRF than Pippa does on the BRF? Because William and Kate didn’t raise Pippa, and she doesn’t live with them. I think the real interest in Marius is how all this affects the NRF and what it says about them that they have been enabling his destructive behaviour for so long. And when Haakon married MM they set up a brand new kind of blended royal family and I don’t think that has worked. The Norwegian police have arrested Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit, again. He is said to have violated a restraining order.
The 27-year-old Borg Høiby was arrested in early August after an incident in an apartment in Oslo. He is said to have assaulted a woman with whom he was in a relationship. He is said to have destroyed items in her apartment and caused her physical harm. He is also suspected of making threats.
The stepson of Crown Prince Haakon pleaded guilty in this case and was given a restraining order against the victim. He is said to have now broken that. Two other exes of Borg Høiby were also questioned during the case. They also accused him of psychological and physical violence.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit had Borg Høiby during a previous relationship. In 2001, she married Crown Prince Haakon. Mette-Marit and Haakon have two children together: Princess Ingrid Alexandra (20) and Prince Sverre Magnus (18). Borg Høiby is not an official member of the Norwegian royal family and has no public role.
According to his lawyer, Borg Høiby is not guilty of violating the contact ban. He stated this to NRK.

Good job to the press! Don't let them float around ignoring the situation. Every time they have a public engagement they need to be questioned and made to feel uncomfortable until they actually make a statement. Or else hide at home.
No one at this visit looks happy to have them, even the children look tense. I hope the invitations start to dry up, they aren't doing any good by showcasing these places because nobody cares about anything but their scandals.
