The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the visit starting on October 5. At the request of Jordan, and due to the situation in the Middle East, the visit will not be a state visit but an official one.

For security reasons, there are no further details regarding the visit's agenda at this time.

I would have to say that this is definitely NOT a good time to be making royal visits to the Middle East. Looks like the whole world over there is on the verge of blowing up.
