I think most fat people feel a pressure to loose weight.

I have never really thought about it, but I suspect it isn't that easy to get Ozempic in NL. At least at the legal way.

just a question to Dutch members to understand : is that so easy to get Ozempic in NL? In Italy with NHS you can only get via doctor's  prescription and only in certain cases with diabetes or other pathologies where benefits are higher than side effects. Therefore it is not common its use, as it is in the US. The only way to get it out of the system would be to buy it in Switzerland but it is very expensive, so it may be that people from show business are using it in this way, but of course no one is ever admitting it.
Btw I do not think Amalia used Ozempic, she is young and in perfect health,  at that age with the help of a good nutritionist and a personal trainer she could have slimmed down and toned very easily. At 21 her metabolism is still working perfectly so with a little effort she can get the same results without using any drug which may potentially damage her future healh.
As far as Max and WAX may be a bit easy going as parents I do not think they would allow their daughter to put her health in potential danger. JMO

My friend is using it via one of the big supermarkets in the uk. Yes there was some preliminary checks but she was classed as obese as she is quite short. No bad side effects either. In fact the only downside is for me as going for a meal and a drink is pointless as she has no appetite for either.

As someone else said the dress code is always like no body got the memo except the royals. I wondering about the Kings speech in the uk which is the equivalent. I guess we have all the lords etc in their robes so there is uniformity there and the mps just wear usual business suits rather than looking uncomfortable in a hat.

Indeed, BE & NL oftenwhile follow the same pattern and over here (Belgium), it's only prescribed for people with severe diabetes...

Whew.  Sometimes I think the DFR invented the word "overkill".  Maxima's big bow.  Amalia's peekaboo cutout, trailing sleeves, strappy stilettos and streaming hair.  Alexia has on so much makeup.  She looks 30, not 19.  At least her hair is smooth & professional.  As for Laurentin, she invented the words fashion disaster.  They all might as well be Kardashians on a red carpet.

I join in with everyone who said they hope Amalia is not on the Ozempic train.  Sure, it takes the weight off, but when you go off of it, it comes back on.  It's only a temporary fix. Plus some of the side effects are scary.  *Hopefully* she has simply made regular exercise & good nutrition her priority.

Ozempic is not so whidespread over here, and I feel like we’re warned a lot about secundary effects, so I doubt it?

I get that but they are wealthy & Royal and could theoretically get what they wanted - but, I hope Amalia has only hired a good trainer  Smiley   she could have, once you get on a regular regime the weight comes off (says the remnant of many diet & exercise plans).

I am from Germany and Ozempic, Wevgony and Mounjaro can be prescribed by doctors also for non-diabetic people in certain cases like pre-diabetes or overweight.

I do not have diabetes but I am overweight and qualify therefore for Ozempic and Mounjaro. But I have to pay for it by myself contrary to people with diabetes. And you get a lower dose usually than people with diabetes.

Ozempic/Wevgony did not have any effect on me (it does not have for 10 percent according to my doctor). So we switched some months ago to Mounjaro and I finally can feel the effect. It is the first time in decades that I do not feel hungry all the time and that I have a normal feeling of being full after eating something and for more than 15 minutes after finishing eating. I am not on the highest possible dose and I want to keep it at that dose as I think that my eating habits are now quite normal and healthy. I loose weight but I also exercise a lot (2 to 3 times swimming per week, at least one dancing class per week and walking) so it is not only the effect of Mounjaro.

I do not feel bad for cheating or using it. I have lost weight before having access to any weight loss drugs just with changing eating habits and sport (around 20 kg), I was on a good road to loose more and then COVID hit. I live in Bavaria where the COVID restrictions where quite strict, I was in homeoffice for almost two years, I battled depression during COVID and gained a lot of weight again. After the lift of the restrictions I already lost half of my Corona-kilos without drugs so Mounjaro is not the only cause for my weightloss but it supports it.

So far I do not have any side effects.

Well, it’s also the end of summer and people are usually much more active physically during that time of year. Lots more outdoor activities and fewer couch potato hours that could contribute to a new level of slenderness were seeing among many Royals.
