Joakim Boström, 49, formerly Verett's representative in Sweden, has made claims in the German media that the so called "Shaman" touched him inappropriately.
https://www.gala.de/royal...d&utm_source=standardWhen Joakim, who says he is spiritually curious, attended a session with the shaman, an incident occurred. Shortly after the 49-year-old had positioned himself on the treatment table, Durek allegedly began to touch him inappropriately. Joakim Boström describes it as follows:
He wanted me to wear less and less clothes. Then he said that I had some kind of cyst on my penis and asked if it was OK if he touched me there.
In Sweden, Joakim then had another session with Durek. This time, according to Boström, a sexual assault occurred during the treatment. "He started touching my penis. I reacted violently and screamed: 'What do you think is happening now? Do you want me to get an erection?'" the Swede describes the incident, adding: "I asked him to stop, but he didn't move. He seemed determined to persuade me to have sex."
When asked whether Boström felt this was an assault, he replied: "Yes, definitely. But it wasn't just during the session that he crossed the line. When I think back, his behavior was always sexualized and he was constantly touching me. It was exhausting."
Boström never reported Verrett, which he regrets. "I could have reported him because he groped me and constantly made sexual advances. I wish I had been quicker to gather evidence against him. But all I wanted was to get him out of my life," says the father of two.
When asked by "Se og Hør", Durek Verrett's new spokeswoman Jenni Weinman commented on the allegations. "Joakim Boström was the Swedish agent of shaman Durek, who was fired because of an inappropriate relationship with an employee. During his services, Durek often performs energy discharges via the lymphatic system in the armpit and groin area. Since his work includes various healing methods, including touch, Durek has created a legal document that must be signed by anyone who uses his services to protect themselves from people with bad intentions like Joakim," the statement says.
And further: "In your questions you mentioned that Durek asked him if he could touch him 'there'. I assume that Boström said yes, since you implied that he had a second session. If Boström had said 'no', I would have assumed that no second session had taken place, which makes me wonder if he filed a complaint for sexual assault, which you also implied. This story sounds like another attempt by Se og Hør to further damage the reputation and name of Shaman Durek, who has helped many people around the world."
So basically, the Sham Man isn't denying it happened, just that there is a legal document the accuser signed so there can't be any legal repercussions. Interesting.
