Anne of Brittany (1477-1514) was Duchess of Brittany from 1488 to 1514. She might have wed Henry Tudor (the future King Henry VII) of England. This marriage did not interest her father, Duke Francis II of Brittany.

For King John II of France a marriage with Eleanor of Woodstock, sister of King Edward III of England was initially considered. This did not occur.

Princess Eleonora of Savoy (1728-1781) was the daughter of King Charles Emmanuel III of Sardinia. She was proposed as a bride for Louis, Dauphin of France, eldest son of King Louis XV of France. The marriage never materialized.
