I'm sooo glad it is finally showing here - heard a lot of good things! Hopefully for you they will show something just as good until the next season!

Does anyone else watch the Antiques Roadshow US version? I love when smug people show up with something they have paid alot of money for thinking it is priceless only to find out it was Made in China and is worth $3. That is my favourite part of the show, when the smug people are brought down! Thumb up

I live for those moments!   Supercontent

I also really like when the reverse happens and people think that it's worth $300 end up with an appraisal for $15000.  Jumping

I think a few of us have discussed the Antiques Roadshow before Smiley  The American show is crazy- items coming up for half a million dollars- fair enough because they are usually rare and genuine antiques which are supposed to be at least 100 years old, so why do we see baseball equipment priced at a ridiculous figure and they are not an antique. Why not call it the "Knick-Knack Roadshow" Grin?

Another BBC fan here!  Thumb up

Spooks
Keeping up appearances
Coupling
Vicar of Dibley
Absolutely Fabulous

I don't get BBC America so I rely on the whims of PBS.  I used to follow Monarch of the Glen but got sick and tired of the Archie/Lexie romance.

Liesl , I love all those shows but my favourite though is As Time Goes By, Judi Dench is such a great actress no matter what she is doing.

I love the British comedies on PBS, but my favourite is Mulberry. I have no idea why they cut it off after two series, when it was a developing storyline that was only going to run for three series anyway.
