I'm in the minority, but I actually like the whole thing. Brown is a color she doesn't wear often, so branching out there. She has the svelte body to pull off polka dots with the frippery extras on the dress, a win there. I like the hat, it's a little quirky without being silly, win. Her hair's up, another win.
Does it blow me out of the water? No. But I like it.
It's a heckuva lot better than the other royal ladies' trainwrecks the last couple of days.

IKR! I would like a consultation with her dermatologist. Yes, I was just thinking-at least on the days where she has a fashion flop (and they unfortunately aren't that rare) at least her face always looks good, and that's one's most important feature. |

I'm in complete agreement.  The hat is a style we don't often see her wear, and like SS said, it has the Eliza Doolittle/My Fair Lady vibe. I like Lindsay's dress too. |

I like what Kate wears, even though looks so not appropriate for such temperatures! She is very elegant without overshadowing anyone. I don't know why they didn't attend the previous days, apologies if it's already mentioned here, but I had the impression that they didn't want to be "too much" in the front line because both Will and Kate did such a great job in the Jubilee so now they have shifted in other events, more serious, less fun, just to not create the image of people who have fun and not working enough. I also think that this period got too long and maybe a bit confused, my english teacher woudn't be happy  |

I like Kate's look today. Sometimes long sleeves in hot weather is cooler, keeps the sun off the skin. I like the hat. I drool over the earrings. Yes, too Pretty Woman, but overall slightly different look for her than the usual coatdress. I love polka dots, though.

Brown?  I like the dress/hat but any color other than brown please.  I like this, but I think I would love it had the hat been the same scale as the boater she wore to Philip's memorial service. Something about the small crown is just a little off to me. The earrings are amazing |
