She is looking quite heavy around the middle.  She is either gaining a lot of weight or her shirt is too small.  Add to the chubby figure a sloppy, frumpy cardigan (but thank goodness it's not beige!!) and the overall look is 'Marian the Librarian'.  Not flattering when her husband took the time to wear a suit.  The hairdo is straight out of the 1980s.

That hair do has to be a joke, I have seen pictures from Alex twisting her hair in the front like that. And if I am not wrong Alex hair was twisted too the day of her wedding.
Did Marie inherited Alex Hair Dresser!!!??? Thinking

To me she looks quite ok. I like that her look doesn't scream "I'm the princess look at me" Wink

In this photo you can really see how much Felix looks like Joachim Champagne http://images.starlounge....0965095675_15_Joachim.jpg

Maybe it's one working for the DRF Thinking Nice of her not to hire a private one IMO Smiley

I think she looks quite good depending of the angle. I'm just hoping her Danish is improving!

I like the fact that she looks normal.  She's not trying to be Princess Perfect, and she seems comfortable in her own skin.

She doesn't need to wear a ton of make-up and be as thin as a rail to feel good about herself.  I'm pleasantly surprised   Smiley

Well Winx I am relieved to see that someone else remembered Alex penchant for that kind of hairdo. Alex had it a lot, it actually helps to give the impression of volume and height although the hair is otherwise pulled back or up neatly. It also looks more casual and relaxed.
Unfortunately for Marie, the twists are too loose or too big, in some pix she looks like a 50s housewife with her hair still in curlers...
As to the cardie-white blouse-dark slacks combo, too me it is quite a simple and non sophisticated office girl outfit. However to a girl who would wear hot pants and a toy dog to work, this might be ultra chic and conservative.
Not bad but not even anything. (actually I expect her employees to look quite like that without even trying)

Inherited Alex hairdresser? Now why do I now have that very weird picture of Jokke outfitted with curlers pins and brushes and murmuring: "Oh, hold still darrrlink, that'll look marvelous..."

It is quite disturbing, isn't it?
What is it with palaces and mirrors? Why do most princesses look like they have neer had the change to check their appearance before venturing outside?
too many "mirror mirror on the walls" bursting?

I hope Marie looks at these photos and sees how hideous her hair looks and never does this again (I didn't like when Alex did this either)

I'm fine with the ponytail and pants, she was on a ship.

But, this was an engagement for her and a jacket would have been the perfect addition to the outfit. The cardigan makes the outfit too informal, especially with Jokke in a suit (as has been mentioned already)

We will really know she's improving once we can hear a recording of her speaking the language. I don't trust the news reporters.

It's not really a flattering look for either of the women.

As this is Se og hÝr I think I will believe this just a little. No doubt they would write if she didn't understand a word Wink
