It must be a huge burden for MH having to grow up so fast. He really does great however (much much better than so many older Crownprinces).

The King doesn't look good at all. Is there any news about his health?

No wonder. I knew nothing about Morocco and its royals before joining this board. I'm learning more and more each day.

They're so much more interesting then Abdullah and Rania.

I think Rania and Abdullah were played out by media to be the most intersting arab royals ,when i think they are not even the most intersting royals in Jordan...Prince Hassan,Princess Ghuda or Princess Dina seem to me more intersting...Rania and Abdullah have a super PR team who polished their image
The moroccan royals imo are another league they have big very big and very ancient history (their denasty started in 17th century)...a monarchy with history like that is always the more intersting

King Visits 'Bayt Dakira', a Spiritual and Patrimonial Space for Preservation and Enhancement of Judeo-Moroccan memory
....This historical, cultural and spiritual space is home, after restoration work, to the "Slat Attia" Synagogue, the "Bayt Dakira" house of memory and history and the Haim and Celia Zafrani International Research Center on the history of Relations between Judaism and Islam.
The Sovereign's visit to this edifice reflects the special interest that HM the King, Commander of the Faithful, attaches to the cultural and religious heritage of the Moroccan Jewish community, and his permanent desire to preserve the richness and diversity of the spiritual components of the Kingdom and its authentic heritage

https://nos.nl/artikel/23...r-stelen-36-horloges.html

According to this article in Dutch media a cleaner of the Maroccan king is sentenced 15 years in jail for stealing 36 watches

The article rhoughly translated:

"..A Moroccan court sentenced a cleaning lady of King Mohammed VI to fifteen years in prison for stealing dozens of expensive watches. Her lawyer told the French press agency AFP.

The 46-year-old woman worked in one of the king's palaces and was accused of the theft of 36 luxury watches from the king. How she did that exactly is not clear. Part of the booty has the woman melted down and sold to gold dealers, several other watches remained intact and were sold.

Gold trade
Fourteen men were sentenced in this case to a maximum of four years in prison. They would have been involved in the gold trade or have been active as an intermediary. The group was arrested at the end of last year and said they knew nothing about the theft.

King Mohammed VI is one of the richest monarchs in the world, with an estimated capital of more than two billion euros. In addition to expensive watches, he also has expensive cars, paintings and yachts in his collection...."

King Mohammed VI "successfully underwent a heart surgery on Sunday June 14th".

He already underwent surgery in Paris in 2018.
