I was pretty impressed when I saw this headline this morning. Judging by how few of the princesses have married out over the years-she must have fought a tough battle for this one--especially since she's an heir's sister. I always saw Mako and Kako having to carry a lot of responsibility until their brother gets married and has kids--I hope this doesn't mean Kako is stuck in for longer than she wants.

Either way-so much Congratulations to Princess Mako, can't wait to see the wedding pictures Smiley Champagne

Her aunt Sayako married out about 10 or 15 years ago but never had children. Imagine if she had three sons. Anyway, Aiko is the one with the responsibility. Imagine your dad will be Emperor soon but he can't train you up for the job because you're a mere girl. Would she be relieved or angry  she is missing out on the throne?
