Started off nice & warm but really humid. By the afternoon/ early evening we had tornadoes, major hail, and some flooding. Gotta love weather here in Arkansas!

It actually feels like spring. Where I live we had nothing but snow and rain so it feels good to finally get a nice day.

Morning began with a white frost and sunshine.
Then became very breezy, it is  still sunny but I believe there is rain expected later.
Just about everything!

We're up to two feet of snow at my house right now and it's still coming down and we're under a blizzard warning.  It's like we didn't even shovel the driveway yesterday...  I'm amazed we still have power.

I know I said I wanted to experience 2 feet of snow, but I should have been specific and wished I would have experienced two feet of snow in December, January, or February and not April!

I guess it will not help if I say that I had a "lying in the sun (under an umbrella) and reading session" in a bikini this afternoon in my garden?
Was only like 20 degrees Celsius (68 F), but in the sun it was, for me, already too hot without the umbrella ...
We had a really pleasant weekend here, after a Friday with 24 hours almost nonstop rain ...

But the weather IS crazy, after a much too cold March, and again on Good Friday it being colder than last Xmas eve, they do now expect to hit 30 degrees in some spots in Germany during next week. I mean: 30 degrees (86 F), middle of April ...?

genegal, don't worry, that snow can't stay forever. Crossing my fingers that the power stays on!

The worse part of this blizzard is the wind.  All the plow drivers can do is keep the roads passable because as soon as they clear the road it gets covered again.  And actually Friday night we had thunder-snow!  The cops in the town where I work informed my boss that they don't want anyone on the streets even on Monday while they clean up, so the library is shut down for the day.  Last night we got a call from the county telling us to not to travel unless it's an emergency.

It is fascinating to see how the different layers of the snow.

WHat a difference two weeks make: two weeks ago we had 2+ feet of snow and now it's currently 82.5 F at my house!
