Wind and almost rainy weather, we're waiting a mediterranean cyclone! Yesterday, we had 31 degrees, today we have 25 - for now - and it is expected to go lower.
I really didn't have much fun this summer, so I already miss it!

Prayers are sent out to those in need.
Here in Germany we've just had our hottest day of this year. So no winter in sight
heavens it is only mid September and you bemourn the fact that it is not winter yet`? Me I enjoy every sunny day...because I dread winter...

Cool and breezy today in central-ish NY. The leaves have started to turn here this week.

We're finally seeing blue sky after a week plus of unhealthy air quality. We're now down to moderate.

Here in the west of Ireland the sun was finally shining after it seems weeks and weeks of rain and wind. There has been no summer here

Alright...let's here from all of those effected by Winter Storm Gail.
At Casa OC (central NY) we received 10" (25cm) and the snow blower tried to go on strike.

Ah OC! I was born in central NY. 10 inches is par for the course. Stay warm and safe.

It doesn't matter how old you get, buying snacks for a road trip should always look like an unsupervised 9-year-old was given $100. Anonymous

My nick of the woods has extreme weather warnings this weekend: A polar vortex meets Sahara winds. Rather rare phenomena but it causes rather strange conditions. The north will get lots of snow (and they aren't used to snow at all) the middle gets ice storms and the south gets the warm winds with sand in the air, turning the sky reddish yellow and dark. But it is at least rather warm. When rain mixes with the Sahara sand, it is called blood rain. Weird eh?
