Oh, love that song, and now I am thinking of the video as well, classic one.

I loved the video.  I remember seeing Stephanie Seymour walking down the aisle in that dress where it was short in the front (exposing her killer legs) and then long in the back.  I've already warned my mom that if she doesn't stop pestering me on my wedding plans, I am getting a dress made to look exactly like that and I don't care if the priest has a heart attack.

Nope, BW. The only Danish band I'm familiar with is Outlandish who I love!

Just got back from seeing Atif Aslam tonight, a Pakistani singer. He was absolutely fabulous!

Well, my musical tastes are nothing very original - classical, classical and more classical. Specifically I like the Russian and German romantic composers.

The other music I find that I often enjoy are soundtracks. I was wondering why when I had a thought that maybe it's because they come with such an emotional bang. If it's the first time you hear a song and you're doing something like cleaning the toilet, maybe it doesn't make as big an impression as if you first heard the song while some character that you care about is dying onscreen. Lately, the soundtrack that I can't get out of my head, is the music to "Twin Peaks." I just finished renting the DVD's from my library and probably watched the things 4 times, just to figure out what was going on. I loved that series when it first came out and I still do, especially the music.

There are musicians from the past who unfortunately get neglected by today's music lovers. One person that should never happen to is that great singer Florence Foster Jenkins "who became famous for her complete lack of rhythm, pitch, tone, and overall singing ability." (from Wikipedia) If you need to be convinced have a listen but don't say I didn't warn you.

I just love listening to her sing, in small doses that is.  Laughing It's a good thing I don't have any dogs because the singing would probably cause them real pain.

Right now I am listening to a indie-rock group called "The Decemberists".  Their album "The Hazards of Love" is amazing!  I have it in it's entirety and if you hear it from beginning to end, you can basically hear a love story between a maiden, her shape-shifting lover, his possessive royal mother and a villain who kidnaps the heroine.

http://www.decemberists.com/#discography.html

My favorite track is "The Wanting Comes in Waves/Repaid" where William (the shape-shifter) pleads to his mother (The Queen) to allow him to visit his love for one more time and she grants him his wish on the condition he never sees her again afterwards.  It's so good!
