Don't know why, but some recent (and some old) songs of Bryan Adams got stuck in my head:

Like a YouTube commentator said, "If sweet music is what you have, give me excess of that"...

Dame Joan Sutherland & Marilyn Horne - The Flower Duet

The date on the Lakame piece is 1985 and below I've added...

Mira, O Norma from a 1970 telecast with Sutherland and Horne

my favourite "Lakme de Delibes" interpretation is from Anna Netrebko & Elina Garanca. Their voices mesh perfectly together

A-ha are the greatest artists I know of in the pop business. Badly underrated.

That is a good version, agreed. Overall, I'm not a Netrebko fan as I think she's not "there" yet. I don't think she has the discipline of the older generation. Of course, I'm a huge Caballe fan, so those are my stripes showing.  Hug

The original from the Cure is awesome, but this cover from Adele is from another world!

So on Tuesday night's episode of Dancing with the Stars, they did a dance with all the pros to Clap Your Hands by Leo Soul.  It took me a while to find it, but it's a really catchy, fun song.  I've been listening to that and Do Ya Thang also by Leo Soul on repeat the past couple days.

I like ABBA. ABBA sang Dancing Queen at the Royal Swedish Opera in 1976 for King Carl XVI Gustaf the night before he married Silvia.
