Bethlehem - Ma’an - Jordan’s Queen Rania, who is of Palestinian origin, was voted the 76th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes Magazine in its Wednesday edition.
Number one was German Chancellor Angela Merkel, followed by Sheila Blair. Queen Rania is the top ranking Middle Eastern woman, with Israel’s Arison Investments Chief executive Efrat Peled coming in 94th, and the UAE’s Minister of the Economy Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi at 95th.
