IMO she simply was more interested in clothes earlier and now she makes the extra effort mainly when abroad

Well she said in an interview after she had Hashem that she didn't spend as much time on her wardrobe as she did in her early years. I doubt she really has the time these days considering how busy her schedule is.....

I really like Queen Rania a lot.  She uses her position to help others, and to try to make the world a better place.

That's my perception of her as well. She seems to genuinely care. Unless she puts up a good front, but I doubt it.

IMo that would be quite understandable: I mean you can be a lot into fashion, however I assume, that after so and so many years of dressing up and choosing, the whole thing has lost a bit of the fun factor, that many of us have when it comes to choosing a new pair of shoes, purse or fall wardrobe...

Rania's black and white gown was by Armani Prive. Her white Roman style gown was by Stephen Rolland.

The beautiful brown leather jacket worn to the tomb on the Unknown Soldier was by Prada.
The dress at the welcome cremony was by Fendi.
The bright orange dress was by Giambattista Valli.
The dress at the 1Goal launch (which hanzo really liked) was by Prada, bag by Fendi.

All of her clothes with the exception of her white gown were by Italian disgners. IMO she probably approached thm before the trip or vice versa and requested some of their outfits for the state visit. She's worn a lot of Valli before so that's not so unusual but she generally doesn't wear Prada or Fendi. If it was a conscious decision to wear Italian designers during the Italian visit then IMO it was a smart move and quite a sweet gesture.

She has worn a lot of Prada in the past, not for galas but coctail, day clothes and acessories.

I did not like the white gown, instead of getting a such a quasi roman gown she should have just worn a real traditional gown from JOrdan, she always looks smashing in them.

I was a little disturbed of seeing her daughter so prominent in a state visit, very stylishly turned out and all, but it feels a little early for it, how old is she?

She's 13 but has participated in state and official visits in the past, they usually take the children with them on trips abroad. Most of the events were fairly "teenage" friendly and it's not as though she was sitting in on serious policy meetings.

i liked two things about this visit:
1-the presence of Imane.
2-the absence of berlusconi.
