State Visit from South Africa

HM the Queen welcomes President Jacob Zuma of South Africa and his wife, Thobeka Madiba Zuma.
(The Zumas are newlyweds; the newest Mrs. Zuma is President Zuma’s third wife — as in three wives total....ahm...alright)

Nice touch staying at Buckingham Palace for a honeymoon, hm?, I say! Here are some pics:

Wow.  Mrs. South Africa III looks like Aretha Franklin.  Or perhaps it's just the dress.  I wonder if nbrs I and II are irritated that they didn't get to overnight at Buckingham Palace.  Philip is starting to show his advancing years...he's almost 90, isn't he?  He looks a little like Mr. Burns, of The Simpsons.

Mrs. South Africa's dress looks like a costume from "Dreamgirls". What was she thinking?!

The press, especially the tabloids have been having a field day with the trip. QEII looks lovely imo and she and Jacob Zuma seem to be getting along quite well.

Philip turns 89 this year on June 10th.

(It's easy to remember for me because my grandma was born just 3 weeks before him in 1921 . And hopefully she'll still be with us for her 90th B-day next year Hug)

I agree, Little star.  It sounds terrible to say, but I think the queen's appearance has improved 1000% since Bobo's death.

Yep, Poptart, it's OK to say Cam looks great! I find she always looks horrid as she's like a vampire. - Love the flower arrangements where they are dining, and would be interested to see the attendance list; I mean, who are all those people? What are they doing there, mewonders.

How Kate's naughty spaniel swallowed the VERY expensive antique gift William bought her for her birthday Yikes

When Prince William bought Kate Middleton a pair of pearl earrings for her 28th birthday, he carefully tracked down the finest and most expensive pair he could find.
But now he may be wishing he had not gone to so much trouble – after the precious antiques were eaten by Kate’s dog.
Otto, her beloved black cocker spaniel, chewed up the jewellery so badly that they were rendered unwearable – much to her consternation.
Kate was delighted on her birthday when her 27-year-old boyfriend presented her with a small ornate box containing the exquisite pair of cultured pearl stud earrings, which he had personally tracked down from a private dealer.

Thanks Galuh

There is way too much detail in the article, either it is a fiction or Katie Nichol has very 'close' sources. Generally she is not taken very seriously.
