``Ghastly white hair''? I'm the mother of what were once four towheaded Norwegian-American kids, and I actually got sad when their hair darkened with age.  I guess that just goes to show that tastes are different.

I see a lot of her bestemor in Ingrid Alexandra. Her dad also looked a lot like the queen when he was young, and so did and does Martha Louise. I agree that her bangs are too heavy, but I am betting I know how that happened. She either did a self-administered haircut or got something stuck her her hair, and the bangs were cut that way to ``fix'' the situation. Only now they've gotten to used to seeing her that way that they've forgotten it was an emergency repair job. I suspect they will go away in a few years.

You mean MM's s hair?

Because her sons' light blond hair is certainly their natural color... and will very probably darken as they age.

I agree, its not her real color. She's a darker sandy blonde similar to IA.

Here's a pic from her engagement before she became BFF's with the bleach bottle.

I'm surprised her hair is not falling out. And that she doesn't have rashes on her scalp.

It's only a matter of time. My daughter is a hairdresser and was horrified when she saw a pic of Mette. The breakage she would have is horrendous. That hair is tortured, and she should be up on cruelty charges  Crap

An  Star for your daughter Christina.

I seriously doubt that Mette Marit can keep that hair colour up, for much longer.

MM spends so much time finding herself yet, one day, she will wake up and find all her hair on the floor.

This is off topic, but let me stray this once.

My mum is friends with a woman whose daughter was getting married a few years ago. She had her appointment to have her hair coloured a week before the wedding - she has her hair dyed blonde.

But, whomever applied the colour, accidentally dyed her hair black instead of blonde.
