What an incredibly beautiful young woman!!! She has her mother’s face shape and eyes, and her dad’s lips and coloring. Perfection indeed.

Austrian Kronenzeitung featured a nice article about Ingrid Alexandra today (How much of a support IA is to her ill mother). There's not really something new in there. Her life as royal teenager, her role as next CP and how she has to grow up fast due to MMs illness.

Some sweet photos in there.

Thank you for the article. Princes IA sounds lovely, despite the Google translation revelation that she has no head (but at least she has some shoulder). "But for a carefree teen life, the propère Ingrid Alexandra currently has no head, she has already shoulder some."
On a more serious note, I didn't realize MM's illness was so severe. I hope having access to the best care in the world gives her many more years with her children.

Google translate is often not the best, especially with German and English as the word structure is totally different.

I hope the article was still understandably.

BTW "schultern" doesn't mean shoulder (Schulter). It's a verb and means something like "having to carry a (heavy) burden (on a her shoulders)" thus "schultern"

Royal heir returns to public school

Princess Ingrid Alexandra’s parents caught lots of criticism when they pulled her out of the local public school and enrolled her in the expensive and exclusive Oslo International School in Bærum. Now the Royal Palace has announced that the heir to Norway’s throne wants to spend her last year of junior high school at a public school in Oslo.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Ingrid Alexandra will begin the 10th grade at Uranienborg School in Oslo this fall,” the palace announced Monday afternoon. The 15-year-old who’s destined to become queen one day will then move on to Norway’s equivalent of high school in 2020.

Wondering whose wish it was she would attend the international school. And if they got surprised by the critics and decided to turn aroun the decision (or perhaps these moves were intended all along)

Ingrid, together with her father, walked the last path of the old Pilgrim's Route to Nidaros as part of the preparations for her confirmation in August. The walk took four hours.

The Pilgrim's Route (also called St. Olav's Way) was the northernmost pilgrimage for Christians during the Middle Ages, and is approximately 600 kilometres long.

At Nidaros Cathedral, the hikers were welcomed by Bishop Helga Haugland Byfuglien.

- The idea from the royal family was that the princess should experience walking as the pilgrims did, looking down towards Nidaros and arriving here today with her family to get to know this very special church and holy place, says Byfuglien to NRK.
