One of the main items at King's day 2019 in Amersfoort were the Dutch Cliniclowns, who have their base and training center in the city. The whole Dutch royal family participated in the acts of the present Cliniclowns.

The Cliniclowns originated from an US initiative: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clown_Care

Among others Maurits, a maternal cousin (eldest son of princess Margriet) of WA:

Thank you for the link Cyril!

At King's day (and King's night) a lot of Dutch people are going crazy Wink Smiley
Just like the years before at Queen's day & night.

This year I celebrated it in my hometown with friends. We noticed less orange and red/white/blue outfits, less exaggerated (in comparison to previous years).

And a many (young) people did go wild on the party song: Links Rechts (Left Right) from the Dutch party group De Snollebollekes. Among others in Breda at the Kingsday party of a Dutch radio broadcaster (Radio 538). But I have also seen masses going left and right on the song in other towns. It is impressive if you see the masses go as one
