Just a few days ago he referred to Emma as his bonus daughter in one of his instagram stories.   I hate to say this, but I think an engagement might be around the corner.

Wow really?? I think that's very disrespectful and ignorant of Emma's feelings, especially as it hasn't even been one year since her actual father sadly passed away 

I would feel so hurt if one of my parents insisted that their new love was the best birthday gift. I get the sentiment behind ML saying that, but surely, in a year where her children have lost their father, as well as the tremendous turmoil that the pandemic has brought, that the best gift ML could receive is to be with her family, especially her daughters? Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but it seems a bit neglectful. Especially as the post is public and her children can access it.

I feel so sorry for Maud, Emma and Leah. They deserve so much better than this. I only hope that their friends and other family members are forming the strong support network that seems to be so lacking where ML is concerned.

It's a pity that those "six long months" didn't trigger a genuine reflection on her relationship, instead it's made her even more besotted and blind.

These girls do deserve better but they have a self-centered and oblivious flake of a mother who is under the thrall of a dangerous con-man.

Exactly right LF. Grifters gonna grift, but ML is more to blame because she is involving her children in this pig sty of a relationship. And giving him an international platform to con more people.

I read somewhere but can't now find it, that ML's sham man boyfriend has been revealed as having been in Norway with questions over how he entered as entry for USA has been closed down for sometime due to Covid, anyone confirm if thats true?

There are no direct flights.  He'd have to connect through London, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Paris...  etc.

Oh, that sounds absolutely right. I would not expect a direct flight from LAX (is that where he is from?) to Oslo.... nor even from JFK for that matter.

I hope my instincts are very wrong but I can see an engagement being announced between these two before long. Given the couples' general lack of awareness and consideration I could see such an announcement taking place around Christmas. I don't even think the first anniversary of the death of her daughters' father and ex-husband would prevent ML from announcing such 'happy' news. In fact, having witnessed the manipulation of Durex, I could see a post announcing the engagement insisting that they have been able to "turn an incredibly sad time into a positive period giving hope for the future".

I’ve had a similar fear, SS. I hope her behavior is not stressing her parents too much - they’ve been through enough lately.

Unfortunately that is correct, but hopefully they still have grandparents and other family that can step in for them. ML is a lost cause.
