I think its probably been a bit of both - there isn't much of those kind of things / places to visit in Luxembourg, and those that are MT already did so Art (which Stephanie seems to have a personal interest in given she studied about it during their time in London) is a good fit.

I'm intrigued and a little excited to see Stephanie (with Guillaume obviously) slowly take centre stage as Henri reduces his duties and likely abdicates soonish. I think there is a lot more to Stephanie than we see.

I agree to that. She will soon be in MT's steps and has to play her role  as the wife of the reigning GD.
And, even if she isn't perfect (who is?) I am sure she will do much better and will be much more loved in Luxembourg and elsewhere.

And, about the art galleries. Who knows that might have been the only visits that MT left to her, because she was always wanted to be in the focus and is known as a very attention seeking woman.

Stephanie just choose what is interesting to her which is art and music. Nothing wrong with that at all, she was raised in a noble house with traditional values and discovered her love of the arts and music. That is a very nice interest/hobby to have IMO.

And in one of the richest countries in the world, I can't imagine there's much call for other kinds of charity work --like homelessness, hunger, poverty...
Exactly, that comes on top of it. They don't have poverty, homelessness, massive migrants influx problems as all European countries are having. That country just has about the number of inhabitants as some middle size cities in Germany have.
MT has chosen to be on an international platform with her "Stand up, rise up" program and other international women's right issues she has been involved with. And those are good issues.

I guess Stephanie is not the type for engaging herself in international issues but will be content and happy to be a good partner to her husband, raise their children and do her duties as Grand Duchess.
And that is perfectly allright.
You don't see those type of involvement of royals in such small affluent countries such as Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and Monaco. There is just no need for it. What happy countries they are!

LL.AA.RR. the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Hereditary Grand Duchess visited the family business “Kuhn Construction SA” this Tuesday.

Their Royal Highnesses, accompanied by Minister Lex Delles and Mayor Lydie Polfer, were received by Roland Kuhn.

After a presentation of the company, created in 1897, the management team took stock of the sector still impacted by the crisis. The meeting also focused on current and future projects. Employees also presented two achievements during the office tour.
