Elena is not  beautiful, but is a fine looking lady, who has got better looking with age, some people look better in their 40tys and 50tys because if you never had looks to lose it can;t worry you as you age and  Elena is one of these people and she seems very confident in her self. Her children are lovely looking kids if a bit wistfull looking but confidence will come with age.
Star A star for you tigerben. Infanta Elena is one of my favorite members of the SRF.

Star Right back, I like Elena too.

Elena and Victoria attend the 100th Jumping Show of the King's Cup in the International Horse show of Madrid

(Photo from Hola)

I think it was at this event that Elena had some words with journalists who were taking pictures of her and her daughter. It seems it was after the ceremony had finished and she was not 'on duty'. She's been called rude and 'common' for yelling at her bodyguard and at the reporter. (Link via the F-IRMB)

Queen Sofía inagurating a centre for the treatment of Alzheimer in Leon(This centre is related to her Queen Sofía Foundation)
Afterwards, the mayor gave her a letter some miners' wives had written to the RF because her husbands have not been paid in three months. When she exited the centre she rolled down the car's window and told them she had read the letter.

That picture is of her dressed as a nurse(The whole room is decorated as if it were the 60s):

She has always been like this, nothing new. I remember a few years ago, she was yelling at the paparazzis outside of her school, also a few other times. Unfortunately this time she was on the focus of the media.
She is very borbon, her aunt Infanta Pilar had also appeared to be quite rude when annoyed.

Is Carla R-V pregnant? I sure hope so, because that dress looks good only on a woman who is expecting!

The Queen shows her desire to solve the problems of mining
Queen Sofia has said today in an e-mail sent to the works of Coto Minero Biscay (CMC), their desire to quickly solve the problems of mining, and is committed to inform the Government of a letter he gave women some miners in Leon.
During his visit on Monday to Leon to open a treatment center for Alzheimer's disease, the Reina Sofia received a letter from a group of women in mining and miners' wives which made him a participant in the 'very difficult' living situation and asked to write a message of support to employees of the coal in an email that have been enabled to do so.

As reported by Efe Works of CMC, in the message, the Queen says that inform the content of the letter to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry to be the ones who give a response to their requests.

In response, the Queen also said 'be worried' about the circumstances of women miners told in his letter.
