Can I say that I don't really understand this modern aet?

Tahon makes exaggerated, stretched and unsettling sculptures based on the human body and head, a bit like Giacometti - quite creepy and impressive when seen in person. Those aren't the best photos of his work (but I like Phil supporting Belgian art)

That's it great that he supports them.

Busy Belgian Bees:

Good King Phil visited the mixed team time trial of the World Cycling Championship

Good Queen Til paid a visit to the UN in Belgium in her role as Sustainable Development goals advocate, and took part in a virtual visit with UN in Liberia

I feel like I should wash my mouth out with soap for saying something less than about Til, but the fact that the stripes don't line up at the side of her dress are just  Thumb down

My mom is a seamstress and to this day I can't buy anything where the pattern doesn't match.

Maybe it was intentional but even if so, just...no  No

Sorry Til; I remain unchanged in my sugary love for you, but I can't get behind this dress.

Well spotted - that pattern matching is dreadful! Love the shoes, though

Gee! The one suspending from the ceiling? Like one of those poor soul from Pompeii. Completely agree. And don't get us started on speculating what the strange white dripping substance is supposed to be, because it looks bad...
Well art certainly is in the eye of the beerholder....
