What strikes me when I look at the pictures of the three dutch princes is how WA looked so very young, much younger in fact than his actually younger brothers, who both looked almost middle-aged at their weddings.

Yeah, people age at different rythms and one person does not have a linear rythm for ageing.

IMO Constantijn had a kind of "old appearance" already at a relatively young age. I looks a lot like his maternal grandfather:
