Rearden thank you for scanning the Dior.  That is quite some crinoline...
Margaret pulls it off beautifully.  Did Cecil Beaton do the photo?

Rearen  Star wonderful. The Queen Mum looked middle aged from when elizabeth was born, she just looked that way for 40yrs. George Kent was a handsome child, as well as been the best looking as a adult. He was his mother's favorite as well.

Rearden nice addition  Star and Tiger  Star, Queen Mary was certainly a piece of work wasn't she , as was George IV.

He was completely over bearing with all of his children.  But could it be expected to be otherwise?  He was not born heir, and as children he and his older brother were so wild, Queen Victoria was not pleased. His brother (and heir) Eddie, was dimwitted and his early demise likely made many breathe a sigh of relief.

The major tragedy that befell Bertie was that he was made to be right handed, when he was really left.  He also had to wear leg braces as a child, and developed the the painful stutter (cover in the film that Colin Firth is in on the same subject).  If I'm not mistaken his father even ridiculed his stutter.
