Members of the NRF attended "The Nutcracker" at the Oslo Opera House yesterday

Ick to seeing Conman and Martha Louise.  More ick, to see Conman's hand on the King  .

That elicited my disgust too.

All I could think was "get your filthy paws off the King's royal person you slimeball"

Both, ML and Haakon brought a lot of problems into the Royal Family regarding their choice of Partners.

I question the parents because they could have prevented these troublesome marriages and instead allowed three completely inappropriate spouses to marry into the RF with the result that the NRF has descended into a farce. ML is a clown show and Haakon has shown himself completely unfit.

Yuck yuck yuck. Bet this just have been another event to write about in his one day autobiography. I've always been a huge fan of Harald & Sonja but they are naïve if they can't see through the Sham Man. But then, where else do they turn - to their son and his family who are trouble free Thinking

This doesn't look like a happy, content family going out for a Christmas treat. SM looks over it, and while I imagine his exclusion from the Christmas card is to portray the line of succession, I'd be pleasantly surprised if he was standing up to his family. I doubt it but I need something to save my disgust with the NRF.

Well better so, if SM is over it. There're already enough young and old royals living of the system (even, if there only using their titles for money).

I think he's a nice young man and hopefully be a good asset to his sister one day.

Let’s hope he doesn’t take after big brother……

Her father?
From what I've read, he was a true loser.
I'd say MM grew up in a chaotic home.

I believe there was a lot of dynamic and personal development with MM's parents.

MM's mom seems very solid, she seems a sweet, caring meanwhile old lady, she never once put herself in the foreground and she seemed a very supportive mom and grandmother, even it was surely not easy to parent MM. She worked as a bank clerk which requires trust from her employer and, despite having four children and being divorced MM did a lot of middle class things that suggest that values from the educated middle class were promoted in that family (going to Australia, ...). I would attribut that to the mom.

I can't see any reason why she married MM's dad at all: He was loud, embarrasing, uncaring, completely low and most of the time he didn't even care that he was making a fool of himself.
The only explaination is that he was not like that when she married him.

Must have been his bad boy charisma because the man was horrendous otherwise.

What about Mette-Marit’s siblings? They seem to lead regular non-messy lives with decent jobs, but I might be mistaken?
