Nice to see them all together enjoying themselves. Lofoten is insanely beautiful.

And Sonja hiking despite being 83 years old is impressive!

What great pictures! This vacation was the perfect medicine for Martha Louise and her girls wasn't it? Family togetherness and enjoying nature on the heels of giving up a beloved home. This makes me want to go back to Norway. We were there several years ago and enjoyed Bergen and the Flamsdalen and fjord tours it was all so lovely little ferns growing near the water and snow on top of the mountains what a place!

The first time I was in the Lafotens, I nearly fell over because I was constantly spinning around to see so much beauty in all directions. I'd go back in a heartbeat once we have a vaccine.

Larzen can speak to this, but Norway in sunshine is spectacular. But you can see those same beautiful fjords and mountains in gray, dark weather and it just feels bleak, lonely, and isolated. That's why there is such a great socializing indoor culture and candles. Lots and lots of tea lights everywhere.

But sunshine makes the country just shimmer. Sunshine looks better there. I say this as someone living in a very sunny place in California. Norwegian sunshine looks better.

So glad the family could get together. ML's daughters are still in the year of firsts for everything. Next year may be harder because it won't be the first summer, first this and first that, but the second one, and people pay less attention and offer less support as time goes on.

Such incredibly beautiful surroundings. It looks like the family had a splendid (and shamanless time).

MMs glasses are incredibly unflattering

Very nice photos, very wholesome without ML's sham-man posing.

Norway ...... so beautiful !!

It's been about 10 years since I did a camping trek (in a group, using a car) in the south of Norway. About Kristiansand - Bergen - Kristiansand. Such beautiful landscapes, whether or not rough. And friendly and down-to-earth residents. This country is definitely recommended for holidays and other visits

Beautiful country, lovely family pictures. I'm so happy to see the King and Queen looking well and fit. They both have lovely smiles.

The entire area (plus Sweden) is breath-taking. Sun or no sun. (I saw the Lofoten in mist and rain - quite atmospheric) but the mosquitos were insane.

Sonia is just a gem. It is nice that the girls spend some quality time with their grandparents and cousins - they seem to be a close knit family. And MM and Hakoon look happy together (and, as always when wearing casual clothes, MM looks good).
