Sorry to see Aunty Astrid in a wheel chair. I hope this is just a temporary thing, although I know she is now 90 years old.

Post earlier on indicates that she has fractured "lårhalsen" or neck of femur (hip) - hopefully this has been fixed and she will be back walking (presumably with a stick) soon

Mette-Marits dress seems a total waste as she wore an almost identical to the dinner for the summer olympians last year They dont suit her, she needs a better bra, a more open neckline and a decent updo instead of the curls... ITA larzen! BTW does anyone know who the designer of that reddish coloured clutch on the table is by please? I like it I love sonja's jewellery too G

Glad they did not push a hat on Ingrid just because she is 18. im always a litle supprised she is quite tiny compared to the rest of her family but she seems to be growing out of her bunad, the sleeves are almost to short now and whilst the skirt is supposed to be shorter than the one of her mother, its clearly shorter than when she first got it, a known problem when you get it for your confirmation Video of the rekord big parade this year, 130 schools after two years without, beautiful weather also heller to get a giant crowd https://www.dagbladet.no/...e-gang-pa-tre-ar/76120253

She's a beautiful mix of her parents. I think she favors Haakon but you can really see MM in that picture where they're both laughing.

I noticed the too-short length of IA's bunad as well. And it doesn't look like one for which the hem could be let down. Probably over the years she will have several different bunad made for her, I suspect, so we can maybe cosndier this one to be a ``starter.''
It is surprising that she is so much shorter than her mom. DNA is a funny thing somehow. She is taller than her grandmother though, I think.
I loved the fact that IA sat down on the front steps when the two young children brought the flowers. A good lesson on getting down to children's level when you interact with them.
