Call me cynical, but I just give the side eye to MM attending events with the eventual crown princess, even if she is her daughter. The sudden uptick of events MM is at is just . . .  I feel like she's standing on IA's metaphorical robes to make herself look better. For all these years, MM had not cared one fig about people's opinions of her work ethic. And now with her eldest son so . . . (fill in the blank) and her very possibly covering up for him and intimidating the witnesses. I don't know. I do not think MM has a good moral compass. |

Obvious PR is obvious. MM is using IA and the sick children in this hospital as human shields to deflect from the criticism of her poor conduct vis a vis Marius and his drama.

Recently I read MM Wikipedia page and boy, the person who wrote that, must hate her deeply. Accoding to the page, only about 25% of the Norwegians approve of her - meaning 3/4 don't. Not sure if a little "too little, too obvious and too late" PR does much for her - IMO it makes her look even more pathetic.
No reason to feel sorry for her IMO. Whatever happened in her life before she met Haakon (and before she had the kid she did nothing productive for three years, a healthy young woman, living of social welfare) - surely fortune kissed her when she met Haakon, who seems to be decent, just not the dominant part of the relationship. He genuinely loves her. She got two more healthy children. She was never hounded like crown princesses in other countries - for less. Nobody really called her out for her foul work ethic. Nobody confronted her with her lies.
Now, in the depths of the flu season, she is working more than in the last 20 years together. She is using sick children, her own daughter, mentally sick people as props to make her look good. She could have done so much social work in the last 20 years, precisely because she came from an underprivileged background. She could have helped drug addicts, single parents, ... Instead, she worked as little as possible, lied, surrounded herself with guys like Epstein and jetted around the world on dubious missions.
Now she is finally reaping what she has sown.

Well I cant…50 years and still cant give a speech without sounding like melasses and like she is going to cry with that down turned smile…maybe she to should go to Elvebakken school for some years like her two younger children and come out a confident and charming, and smiling! speaker like her daughter, of course she does not have the grades to get in there. If I were a Norwegian citizen, invited to an event of M-M, I'd consider not going. On the other hand, no one wants to look like they are not supportive of the Queen or the next-in-line, IA. This is why I think M-M is doing all these joint events, and none solo right now. Because people might not show up if it were just her. She's hiding behind royal petticoats.

you know MM could wear hair shirts for a month of sundays...it still would not change anything. she is still not remoreseful, not contrite, has not even pulled her horns in about Marius. all she's done is appear more in our faces. someone needs to tell Mm that it is not quantity, but quality! G |

Interesting for how much more MM has been doing none of it seems to have been with Harald or Sonja (unless I’m wrong) I get this is probably normal but its also telling there have been no extra efforts to show unity

I think it is the strongest form of public disapproval Harald and Sonia will give her. In fairness:
There was not much "four people working together" or "Sonia and MM working together" beforehand, but also because MM was basically never working. She was, most of the time, doing joined events with Haakon and about 80% of the time she did not show up because of sickness or "sickness". Even Auntie Astrid worked more reliable than her.

Members of the NRF attended "The Nutcracker" at the Oslo Opera House yesterday   Wow, MM took a night off? Poor woman she's gotta be exhausted  A least without her there at Haakon's & Ingrid's faces don't have to force-smile. Ick to seeing Conman and Martha Louise. More ick, to see Conman's hand on the King  . I see Martha Louise must have passed out early Christmas gifts; I think that's one of "her" designs that Sverre Magnus is wearing. |
