Sophie’s speech as she takes over royal patronage of CMI from Philip. The speech is very good and shows her witty sense of humour and knowledge of the company. She gets better and better but she does have over 20 years experience in the family.

So someone on Tumblr claimed that Sophie was getting more coverage because she paid for PR. Do you think that might be true? Or are BP encouraging the media to cover her more? Or, perhaps the media want to cover someone who isn't going to scream privacy and muck them about?

As in she paid for coverage or as in she paid for a PR person to help her rather  just rely on the BP press office?

I mean Sophie is a former PR exec herself, however that makes me think two things:

she knows the value of good PR so would happily get extra help

she had done it herself so why pay someone else to do PR  when you had your own PR company yourself, surely she could direct the staff available to her

Why would someone comment on Sophie 'getting more coverage'?

More coverage than before, more coverage than someone else in the RF, or more coverage for her charitable work?

Seems to me that Sophie is a steady and dependable advocate for her charities. And, she is regular visitor to events outside the London metro area including rural events. Not something the younger royals are doing.
