In Toronto, The Countess of Wessex met the Governor General of Canada, Julie Payette. The Governor General is the Monarch’s representative in Canada.

Her Royal Highness has also met representatives from the Awareness Foundation whilst in New York.
The Countess is Patron of the Foundation, which empowers people of faith to become peacemakers in their communities.

Honestly it's her shaky start and subsequent come back that makes her a model.  To have come back from that kind of scandal with not only a strong marriage but love from your inlaws and respect from the public is amazing.  Her nieces could learn a lot from her struggle and comeback.
