What an absolutely marvelous thing to do - and just like our Sophie to do it.

Well done!

She looks great and what an appropriate on message from the queen activity to do. The communications offices seem coordinated.

I really hope Charles and William keep these two going.

This is awesome work! Sets a great example - hopefully it will inspire others who can help to get involved.

Bless her for undertaking the training and carrying out this needful work, I'm sure she is intelligent and compassionate - just what's required.  Champagne

Wonderful for her to volunteer!! Somehow I cant see a documentary being decided to follow and glorify her work (St Hoefia I'm looking at you!) as I can imagine Sophie is one of those who just wants to play a helpful part.

A friend of mine volunteers at a school testing staff and children for covid. I told her how selfless and amazing it was for her to volunteer and potentially put herself at risk, and in a typical British manner, she brushed it off as "something that needs to be done". I can anticipate Sophie being of the same ilk.

I love that the Wessexes do their duties without a lot of fuss but with a lot of panache.  She’s a class act, always dresses respectful to the event and always has a quiet, polished look.  She’s learned well how to fit in and carry on.  Can see why the Queen likes her so much.  What a great volunteer position for this time.

Wish we could see more of Bagshot ... it looks very luxurious.   While my Republican heart hates that, my love-of-antique-furniture-and-unique-wallpapers-heart wants a peek inside.

Oh thank you Cyril - I have just seen your post  Star
Unfortunately that clip doesn't show the inside of the home though.

Yes, after the initial hiccups, she and Edward have been a great asset to the monarchy.

But all the new married-ins have initial hiccups.  Champagne

Some more, some less. Some get over it, and become useful. Some not.

It was a pleasure to welcome back HRH The Countess of Wessex on Tuesday to help volunteer with Nourish Our Nurses. The Countess once again helped our cause, lifting and packing with our other volunteers. We were delighted she was able to join our team again.
