So with regard to royals at these event, we have spotted uptil now:

- Camilla
- Felipe & Letizia
- WA & Max
- Philippe & Mathilde
- Victoria

Henri Lux was there too. Nobody from Norway and Denmark.

All of these are able to represent their countries with dignity.  Fred could only find dignity if it was written on the inside of the bottom of a bottle.  I can see Michael D Higgins, Irish President beside Leti.  There should be representatives from across Europe and beyond.

Very poignant ceremony.  It's so sad to think every year there are fewer survivors and witnesses.

I cannot imagine who would be the appropriate person from the US to represent at Auschwitz Liberation this year. Perhaps it is best no one showed. Secret

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was sitting in the last row. Not sure why he was selected to attend, but he can be seen two rows behind Leti and the Irish president Higgins.

Thank you for the addition.

Wow, completely missed Haakon on the earlier pictures and video's. In this picture he and the Norwegian PM are even walking next to the Dutch PM.

According to the NRF official engagement list, Haakon should be there.

Haakon is in that first pic at the top of the thread, next to Philipe.

You mean this picture?

These are Mathilde, Felipe, Maxima and WA. Squatting in front is Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Or this one?

this is not of the events on January 27 in Poland. This were the 3 Kings + Haakon at the Holocaust memorial in Israel a few days before (January 23).

He is fifth in line to the presidency and likely the highest ranking official who could be spared to go. Our country is a bit of a shit show atm.

Steve Mnuchin is also Jewish. I don't know much about his background but it's possible he lost family in the Holocaust.

I'm not a fan of Mnuchin b/c his banking background and choice of a wife, but I can see the appropriateness of having him at the memorial. Glad there was some representation from the US. (Though it is a not-widely-known fact in US history that Roosevelt turned back a boat of Jewish refugees and they all later perished in camps.)
