I'm watching now. Thanks.  Wow, that is some welcome for Anne-Marie!  The stadium is packed.  It must be really difficult for this couple, especially Constantine, to grow up and get used to such adulation, and now - nothing.  Then there must be some guilt to realize that the monarchy ended with you (or because of you).  

Big change with today's princesses - who normally shack up with their prince for years before marriage.  No need for this kind of welcome anymore.

I know the Greek throne was not the most stable. However, the Greek people were more than willing to give Constantine (and Anne-Maria) a chance, as you can tell. Things can change in the blink of an eye.  Most Greeks could care less about them now. There are some, mostly older fervent monarchists.  The batch of the young Greek royals and their marriages and their insistence on titles that don't exist just convinced people they did the right thing in 1974.

The young royals should remember that it only takes a few minutes to overturn a sovereign. Prince Albert should REALLY remember that with Charlene blowing out her blow hole every two seconds.
