, Miss W - thank you!  She was so beautiful - and so young.  It's so weird to think she was just a kid, only 18 at her marriage and at Alexia's birth.  I'm 21 and I just can't imagine any of it.

One correction: I think the second to last cover, where AM has her baby in her arms with the priest, Ingrid, and Constantine, is actually Alexia's baptism, not Pavlos's.  AM wore pink to her baptism and yellow to his.

This is the funniest photo of Constantine. Philippos looks like his dad. But C. reminds me of Bill the Kid, too.

These are great pics Miss Waynfleet! (as soon as the time limit's up).  Anne Marie was so pretty when she was younger (IMO-the prettiest of the three sisters).  It's really weird to me to think that she got married and had children so young.  I can't imagine getting married at 18.  I know that she led a different life from 99% of the world, but still.  18 just seems so young.  She was just a teenager.

Actually, no - it wasn't common knowledge in the 1960s when Nikolaos was born that smoking was bad for an unborn baby.  If you look at cigarette ads from that time you'll see pictures of pregnant women smoking because companies were actively marketing to them, and in fact doctors used to tell pregnant women that they should smoke so that they would have low birth weight babies and therefore an easier labor, and find it easier to lose weight later.  Weird, huh?

Her father was almost old enough to be her grandfather - 47 when she was born, so he's in his mid-60s here, and I think looks older than that.  Her mother was younger (36 at her birth), but I think Ingrid, while always an attractive woman, aged very quickly and usually looked at least 10 years older than she actually was.
