Queen Friederike and the Count of Barcelona at the pre-wedding gala of JC and Sofía's wedding:

The second couple are Julianna of the Netherlands and Olav of Norway, and the two women after them Victoria Eugenia of Spain and Ingrid of Denmark. Friederike is wearing the Greek rubies, here we can see Anne Marie wearing them in HQ http://i46.photobucket.co...094285158MFJSop_fs1-1.jpg

Victoria Eugenie, a heroine by this husband! Like her very much.

Friederike was very pretty. But I once read that she was involved in the assassination of a Greek politican.  Shocked
Don´t know if it is true. Maybe trying to make calumny.

After they found out that VE is a conductor for haemophilia, Alphonso treated her bad and visited her once in a year to save the succession to the throne, because the sons could easily die.  No
He had his affairs and VE was alone with her kids.

OMG silly idiot.
First of all, the fact that Haemophilia run in the families was already known...secondly as a carrier you aren't exactly contageous. If the children were ok, then contact with their mother wouldn't suddenly make them bleeders.
Anyway, the fact that Sofia comes from a HP family and the spanish are cursed with that should have raised some concerns back then.... Apparenlty it didn't and quite fortunately they are all ok....
Rearden, I am getting confused...Friederike was Sofia's mother and not a member of the spanish but the greek royal family, right? Crazy
