Does anyone know what relations are like between Leopold III's children by Lilian Baels and the rest of the royal family?
Apparently there is one "problem child" amongst the 3 children of Leopold and Lilian: Marie Christine.
As far as I heard the other siblings, Marie Esmeralda and Alexandre were in a relatively good understanding with their elder half siblings.
The story is that MA was raped/assaulted by a cousin at a party (when she was around 18). She told her mother, who apparently just said scolded her and said she shouldn't make a fuss (as it would be a scandal, if anyone found out).
That's were it all started. I think I read that she also took drugs once, had psychological problems etc.
How she's living in the US with her second husband and has no contact to the family.
