MW, is Gina Austrian nobility?   Really an interesting thread--tiny country, tiny information.  let's see what more we can bring to light!
Thank you,  Star
Baby Odette, sort of OT, but I just LOVE your avatar and that this little girl's "lovey" is a sock, and that it just endears her to you...good choice!!!!! Star Hug

OT,
Joie, you know who she is, Victoria Federica, daughter of Infanta Elena.  She has likely replaced the sock with an Iphone, but I think the sock is precious too.  TY sweetie.   Star Hug

The root of the Wilczeks are in Bohemia, but they are Austrian.

Her parents were Graf Ferdinand von Wilczek and Gräfin Norbertine Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau. The Kinskys are Austrians, too.
Hans Adam married his cousin Marie Aglaë, Countess Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau.

Maybe it was her choice, but apparently she was in Spain for a long time waiting for Felipe to show signs of interest.

Odette-Those pics of Liech are incredible.  I don't know much about this country and royal family.  Please keep the info coming!  I like learning about them.  They're fascinating.

Tatiana was studying for real. Gabriella Windsor studied in Spain too, it's not uncommon for these people to send their kids away to school, and attracting Felipe's attention can't be the only thing that Spain has to recommend it. Imo Felipe would have been lucky to have married a woman like Tatiana.

Guillaume of Luxembourg was sent to work in Spain too. I doubt they were trying to get Felipe and him to marry though

Prince Maximilian von und zu Liechtenstein and wife Angela Brown (born in 1958), now Her Serene Highness Princess Angela of Liechtenstein.
They have one son Alfons.

Some people guess that his family wasn´t so delighted. But I don´t care. She is educated and independent.

Maybe so, but had her mother and Sofia's plan succeeded and Felipe had been interested, she would have married him.  A Orleans princess was also "sent to study Spanish" in Spain and said she would put aside her feelings in order to "serve her country" or some nonsense like that.  Felipe wasn't interested in her, either but he was the big catch back then.

sure. whatever you say.

IMO flip was maybe a catch for the orleans princess but clearly not so much for the liechtenstein one. though i suspect that both families would have loved the alliance.
