Oh, Wow, Odette! The first set of pictures on the first page are especially dreamy, and amazing. I must go there, have heard of it on tv programs but these photos are particularly gorgeous!!!

I know he was known as "mad" yet also as "fairytale", I can completely see he was obsessed, which isn't always a bad thing.

Thank you Lover, I found him fascinating, and also a sad person.  About the hair, I recall reading that he was to have said something like this: I cannot start the day unless my hair is curled.  Have you seen the film "Ludwig" by Luchino Visconti?  It's kind of over the top, but shot on location.

I might have to watch this movie again, it was long ago when I last watched it. A really good production, and yes, a bit over the top Wink . Odette cheri, Star for your oh so great topics and pics! Lover, Star for appreciating all that Smiley .

Thank you Odette and Sugar-Free!!!

That hair curling quote is quite funny.  Wink

I have not seen that movie but I definitely will search it out now, thank you. For it to be shot on location would be a big bonus!

What I watched was some History channel type thing years ago, but he stuck in my head. If I recall correctly he was in love and could not be with that person and so he was quite sad as you say. He is very interesting, and quite a unique character I want to find out more about.

Gorgeous pictures guys!  Hug
