Infante Jaime of Spain was the second son of King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenie. He was born in the Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso in Segovia Province. He was consequently granted the non-substantive title of Duke of Segovia.

At a first glance, it looked like a "fallera de Valencia", but  it is a "charra"  from Salamanca.

When the army withdrew its support from King Alfonso XIII, he was forced to leave Spain (April 14, 1931).
However, he refused to abdicate the throne. Did King Alfonso XIII legally abdicate the throne?
