Is his wife the one with the Michael Jackson nose?  I seem to recall one of the Bulgarians having a very botched nose job.   Thinking   If so, then it definitely explains a lot.

So sad.  He was very young.

Roman Patrician, his wife is completely recovered right now, thank god  Cry
No, I think you're talking about Princess Kalina who is Kardam's sister. His wife is Miriam Ungría, quite a pretty lady IMHO  Wink

Is that a recent picture of her?  If so, then that's not the princess I was thinking of.  Thinking

Or if it is, then she's fixed her nose.  But, I don't think that's the woman I was thinking of.

Yes, it is. As I said previously, I think you're talking about princess Kalina, Kardam's sister who lives in Morocco.  Wink

I've just looked her up, and you're right.  That is indeed the woman with the strange nose.  Thank you for giving me her name.  I couldn't remember it, and I couldn't find her until you posted the name.  Star

Crown Prince Kardam passed away in Madrid today aged 52. He had been in a coma since August 2008 after a car accident.

Sad news, but on the other side perhaps for the best. You want somebody you love have to suffer on and on. And if there are no chances for improvement.

We're they waiting for someone to come of age before they pulled the plug? Or was there some hope he could recover and so the long wait?

His wife was sure he was getting better and was going to recover. She seemed to be basing that on hope alone, because his brothers were more realistic with the press when asked. According to Miriam he was always better, he had recognized one of his sons etc..Unfortunately he never recovered and died naturally, Miriam would have never "pulled the plug".

Today there's a funeral in Madrid, in Los Jerónimos Church. The Bulgarians, the Spanish RF, the Dutch RF and others are expected.

ETA: Cristina is also at the funeral.
