Ok this isn't exactly royal, but Hale from theinternetforum mentioned the show "Country House Rescue." There's a channel on youtube where experts help the British aristocrats save and keep their stately homes. Sorry mods if this is in the wrong place. http://www.youtube.com/show/countryhouserescueoh no! Viewers in the US can't view the vids. Oh well. I'm sure there are aristocratic homes to talk about!

most of these homes aren't owned by the aristocracy, more a case of gentry in the best of cases, some even have relatively new owners, alwats nice to see the inside of someone's house though lol

I loved both Longleat and Chatsworth when we visited England. Also Knole. I was very sorry their garden was not open, as what I could see of it was superb/
